What We Offer
EFPlus Programs
Your child already has the motivation. We build the skills around it.Ages 5–18 · All abilities
Your child picks something they actually want to build. We pair it with an EF coach who ensures planning, focus, and follow-through are part of the work every single session. They walk away with something real. And skills that are genuinely theirs.
Choose from three distinct programs — each designed for a specific transition point and delivered in whatever format fits your family.
Group Intensive (Most structured)
Small groups of 3–6 students per coach

In-person Summer sessions available seasonally
1 - 2 week tracks available at enrollment
Individual Sessions (Most flexible)

Build Your Own Group (Most customizable)
You gather the families — we build the program
Private group with your own kids and their friends
Flexible schedule: daily, weekly, or custom

EFPlus is not a tutoring program. It is not about mastering the craft. A kiddo working on an art project is not there to become a painter — they are there because making art is the context in which their brain is willing to practice planning, managing time, tolerating frustration, and finishing what they start. The finished painting is evidence of the skill, not the point of it.
EFPlus Is:
Learning EF skills through a project they chose
Using existing motivation as the fuel
Building capacity where they can actually thrive
Skills they'll transfer to school, work, and life
The "how" behind everything they're already trying to do
With all of our programs, we treat parents as partners, not spectators
Parent check-ins are built into every program. We share what we're seeing, what's working, and specific ways to reinforce EF skills at home without taking over. The goal is a version of your child that needs less external scaffolding — not more dependence on us.
EFPlus: High School
Middle School to High School Ready Grades 6–8 · Two-Day Intensive
The jump from middle school to high school is a real EF stress test — more teachers, more independence, fewer reminders, higher stakes. The students who thrive aren't always the smartest ones. They're the ones who show up to 9th grade already understanding how their brain works and how to work with it. EFPlus: High School is a focused, two-day intensive that builds that foundation before it's needed.
Over two days, students get a crash course in how executive functioning actually works — not abstract theory, but a practical understanding they can immediately apply to their own academic life. We help them pinpoint exactly what triggers their own distraction and overwhelm, so they stop guessing and start recognizing the pattern in real time. And we tackle the belief system underneath it all: the difference between thinking "I'm just bad at this" and knowing EF skills can be built like any other skill.
By the end of the intensive, students walk away with real self-knowledge, not just a folder of tips — the beginning of the habits and mindset that will carry them into high school.
Format: Individual 1:1 or small group (3–5)
Duration: Two-day intensive
Mode: In-person, online, or hybrid
Includes: Parent debrief following the intensive
What We’re Actually Building:
The six EF skills behind everything
These are the skills that determine whether a smart, capable person can actually execute — in school, in work, and in life. And they are teachable.
Planning & Organization
Knowing what needs to happen, in what order, and how to hold the steps together without losing the thread. The foundation of every project, every semester, every goal.
Task Initiation
Starting when it's easier not to. This is the skill most people misread as laziness — and the one that responds most directly to the right conditions and strategies.
Time Management
Accurate sense of how long things take, how to block time that actually gets used, and how to stay connected to a deadline before it becomes a crisis.
Cognitive Flexibility
Adapting when the plan changes — because it always changes. Trying a different approach. Tolerating the unexpected without shutting down.
Emotional Regulation
Managing frustration, perfectionism, and the feeling that nothing is going right — without abandoning the work. The skill that holds every other skill together.
Metacognition
Thinking about your own thinking. Noticing what works, what doesn't, and why — and using that honest self-knowledge to get better over time.
EFPlus: College
High School to College Ready Grades 9–12 · Two-Day Intensive
Most students who struggle in their first year of college aren't underprepared academically. They're underprepared for the independence. No one tracking whether they went to class. No parent managing the deadline. No safety net. EFPlus: College is a two-day intensive designed to build real self-awareness before students leave for campus.
Across two focused days, students learn how executive functioning actually shapes their day-to-day decisions — attention, follow-through, planning — and why some strategies work for them and others don't. We help them identify their own specific triggers for distraction and overwhelm, the ones that tend to surface hardest when no one's checking in. And we work directly on mindset: helping students see EF skills as something they can build and strengthen, not a fixed trait they either have or don't.
Format: Individual 1:1 or small group (3–5)
Duration: Two-day intensive
Mode: In-person, online, or hybrid
Includes: Parent debrief following the intensive
