Dr. Carly Pardo

Therapist / Coach

Dr. Pardo (she/her) is a dedicated clinician with a deep commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and adults in building emotional resilience, self-understanding, and meaningful change. With a doctorate from the combined Clinical-School Child Psychology Program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, and dual licensure in New York and Florida, she brings a rich and diverse clinical background to her work.

Her clinical approach is integrative, relational, and evidence-based. Dr. Pardo draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic principles, and trauma-informed care to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and family context. She has specialized training and experience treating anxiety disorders, disordered eating, OCD, depressive disorders, and trauma, using structured, research-supported methods to help clients regulate emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build lasting coping strategies.

Dr. Pardo completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, where she provided individual therapy to children and adolescents across a wide range of presentations, co-facilitated DBT skills groups for adolescents and caregivers, and regularly presented on cultural considerations in pediatric care. Her doctoral internship was completed at The Renfrew Center, an APA-accredited residential eating disorder treatment program, where she provided individual, group, and family therapy to teens and adults using a transdiagnostic, relational, and emotion-focused CBT framework.

Her training spans multiple settings. At Quad Preparatory School, she worked with twice-exceptional students and integrated social-emotional learning, game-based cognitive behavioral therapy, and executive functioning support into both individual therapy and the classroom setting. While at the Jewish Childcare Association, Dr. Pardo provided individual and group therapy to children and teens in the foster care system and integrated both CBT and Psychodynamic therapies into trauma-informed treatments. At Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants, a private practice, Dr. Pardo provided comprehensive individual and group DBT as well as CBT across age ranges. Across the varied treatment settings, Dr. Pardo has gained extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism spectrum profiles.

Dr. Pardo also has a passion for sports and performance psychology, drawing on her own background as a competitive athlete to help young athletes and high-achieving individuals navigate performance pressure, identity, and confidence.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pardo has a research background in suicide risk among gender-diverse youth. Her commitment to bridging research and practice ensures that each client receives individualized, informed, and effective care. She is deeply committed to offering a safe space that is affirming for all individuals and emphasizes strengths.

Whether providing therapy, executive functioning coaching, or sports psychology support, Dr. Pardo is dedicated to empowering each client and family with the tools they need to thrive.
