With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, Dr. Norlander has extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Her expertise spans cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, tailored to support clients in overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress. In addition to her clinical work, Kara is passionate about coaching clients seeking to clarify their goals, navigate transitions, or cultivate a deeper sense of purpose. She has a particular interest and expertise in Executive Function (EF) coaching, supporting individuals with challenges in organization, time management, emotional regulation, and task initiation. Dr. Norlander earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, and she also holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a Counseling Specialization from The Chicago School. She continues to advance mental health awareness and personal development by sharing insights, offering workshops, and contributing to community well-being initiatives.
